A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes). However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. A king's (Peter O'Toole) four living sons - not to mention the ghosts of their three dead brothers- all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the wvil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer).

DOA : DEAD OR ALIVE

A number of fighters are invited to DOA, an invitational martial arts contest. They travel to the tournament island by plane, until they have to jump out mid-flight with parachutes, and then have until sundown to reach the main island to be entered into the tournament. Fighters are then polled against one another in a knock-out style tournamnet, with the loser of a battle sent home, and the winner progressing to the subsequent round. The plot revolves around four female fighters who begin as rivals, but subsequently find themselves teaming up against another force.

David and Amy Fox (Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale) find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere when their car breaks down. Lucky they come accross a motel with a TV to entertain them during their overnight stay. However, there is something very strange and familiar about the Grade-Z slasher movies that the motel broadcasts for its guests enjoyment. They all appear to be filmed in the very same room they occupy.
